Electrospun PVP/PVA Nanofiber Mat as a Novel Potential Transdermal Drug-Delivery System for Buprenorphine: A Solution Needed for Pain Management

Over the past several decades, formulation of novel nanofiber-based drug-delivery systems has been a frequent focus scientists around world. Aiming to introduce nanofibrous transdermal system treat pain, nanofiber mats buprenorphine-loaded poly (vinyl pyrrolidone) (Bup/PVP) and poly(vinyl alcohol)/poly(vinyl (Bup/PVP/PVA) were successfully fabricated by electrospinning process for drug delivery. Similarly, PVP PVP/PVA nanofibers in same conditions comparison.
